Baltic Wharf is a proposed new residential development on a brownfield site at the western end of Bristol’s floating harbour, neighbouring the historic Underfall Yard. With it’s wide open views across the city skyline, the development will offer 150 new homes, 40 percent of which will be affordable housing. The central landscape area will be a mix of public and private space helping to create a new, accessible neighbourhood. The proposals increase biodiversity habitats by over 30%, and, through intelligent placemaking, create useable public spaces that will open-up the site and contribute to the health and wellbeing of residents and the local community.
